Mrs. Holly Scheffer
Hello! My name is Mrs. Scheffer. I am excited to be teaching 6th grade this year at Bedford Jr. High.
I was born and raised in the great state of Kentucky! I found my way north as a student- athlete (swimmer) at the University of Toledo. I received both my Bachelor of Education and my Masters degree with a concentration in Math from UT. True Story... I did my student teaching under the awesome guidance of Mrs. Vogel!

I truly enjoy junior high school age students! There is never a dull moment, and I thrive on the life lessons that are learned during these years. I am an energetic person, and I like to have fun while I learn and teach. I enjoy learning what makes each student unique, and I always find something that I love about each student.
While I am not at school, I enjoy coaching the Bedford Boys Varsity Swim Team in the winter, and the Green Hills Gators swim team in the summer. I am also a "sports mom" as I run my 3 older children around to all their school and athletic activities.
I am happily married to Jon Scheffer who is a BHS math teacher , BJHS Boys X-country, and Head BHS Track coach . We have four wonderful children: Laiya (12th grade), Noah (10th grade) Micah (7th grade), and Ella ( Almost 5 years old).
Oops! Can't forget our dogs, Winnie the Pooh and her friend, Roo! Winnie is 11. Roo is still a puppy.
