School Supplies

Supplies you will need throughout the year: These are suggested items that we will be using. If you have difficulty providing these items, I will do my best to provide them for you. Thanks for your educational support. This is a school supply used by our Vogel/Scheffer Block.

Printable Supply List

A lot of pencils are necessary!

Mechanical pencils are fine! Bring lead! You might need a pencil pouch as well to keep all this with you during the day!

Colored Pencils

Needed for Social Studies and Science

Black Permanent Markers

You will need black markers throughout the year. Please bring at least 1 fine tip black marker for details.

Three Spiral notebooks

We will be using a spiral notebook for Math, Social Studies and ELA. These can be the 70 page spirals.

One 3-Ring Binders

You will need a binder for Mrs. Scheffer's subjects. We will keep them all together in this binder. 1.5-2 Inches.

Calculator

This is what our classroom set looks like, however I prefer that you have your own calculator. You will need a basic scientific calculator. Do not purchase a graphing calculator. Save your money until high school for this. Cheap and simple is the way to go for 6th-8th grades.

One 5-pack Dividers for the Binder.

You will need these for your math. Bring these to school blank. We will label them together in class.

Loose leaf Paper

You will need access to a lot of loose leaf paper. You may also use notebook paper that has perforated edges. Used for all subjects.

4 two-pocket folders

You will need a folder for Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Science.

Tissues & Hand Sanitizer

Runny, Snotty noses are still present in 6th grade. Please help us to keep our colds under control.

Please bring one of each.

Disinfectant Wipes

To help to keep us healthy and to clean up our science messes, please send in some disinfectant wipes. Thank you!!

Dry Erase Markers

We will be using individual "white boards" in class. Markers tend to dry out quickly. Please bring in at least two dry erase markers. Brand does not matter, but try to choose the low odor markers. Thanks

Ear Buds/ EarPhones

You will need your own pair of ear phones for individual computer use.
These do not have to be expensive. I have seen some in the dollar aisle.
